Monica has a passion for bringing best practices and innovative solutions for sustainable development to the public and private sector, especially in developing countries.

With an MPP from University of Chicago and with 20 years of experience working with multilaterals and government financing, Monica has experience on all different project stages, sector assessments and including negotiation and the oversight of portfolio in developing countries.

For several years, she has been working as an independent international development consultant specially in Latin America, supporting institutions on areas such as impact evaluation, development impact, sustainability, analysis of alternative financing and policy strategies and sustainable infrastructure evaluation.

She has experience with institutions such as World Bank, IFC, IDB, Grupo Sura, Mancala consulting and the government of Colombia. She is fluent in English and Spanish and trained in project finance and private capital funds.
